Waldorf Softball Looks Ahead to Upcoming 2025 Season

FOREST CITY, Iowa – Waldorf Softball enters their first season in the Great Plains Athletic Conference this upcoming season with Head Coach Justin Uhlenhopp in his third season and Assistant Coach Cameryn Patterson starts her first season with the Warriors.
Waldorf finished their last season in the North Star Athletic Association with an 8-15 record, finishing as the sixth seed.
Head Coach Justin Uhlenhopp said, "Waldorf Softball is excited to join the GPAC this season. The conference has a strong history of highly competitive softball, and we are looking forward to this new challenge. We will have our work cut out for us, but that will only motivate our team to challenge ourselves in everything that we do. Our goal is to be a better softball team in April than we are in January. Our motto for this season is "Don't count the days, make the days count," and we are going to live that out on and off the field."
In the GPAC preseason coaches' poll released on Thursday, January 23, Waldorf was ranked to finish twelfth in the conference.
The Warriors open their season on Saturday, February 8 at 9am against Mount Mercy University in the American State Bank Sports Complex in Sioux Center, Iowa. To see the softball schedule for the season, click here.
