Waldorf D1 Hockey Signs Sam Ingram

FOREST CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf Warriors D1 Hockey Team is excited to announce the addition of Sam Ingram for the 2025-26 season. Head Coach Ty Prater announced the signing of Ingram from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sam comes to Waldorf with three years of experience in junior hockey.
Ingram is a 5'11" left-handed playmaking forward. In high school, Sam played travel hockey his first three years. His senior year, he played AAA for the Colorado Thunderbirds. Ingram's first year of junior hockey was in Wisconsin for the Wisconsin Lumberjacks of the Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL). Mid-season, Sam went to the Bozeman Ice Dogs of the NA3HL where he finished the year and played the entire next season, totaling 66 games played and 23 points. His final season of juniors, Ingram moved to the Long Beach Bombers of the USPHL where he played 33 games and had 21 points before being traded to the Decatur Blaze of the USPHL to finish out the season.

Not only is Sam physical, but he is extremely smart with the puck and sets up a lot of great scoring chances. Sam's work ethic and drive fits perfectly with our team and where we are going. I'm really looking forward to the experience and leadership he is going to bring to the team next year."
