FOREST CITY, Iowa. - The Waldorf Warriors D2 hockey team is excited to announce the addition of Onrii Dalgity for the 2025-26 season. Head Coach Sean Parker announced the signing of Dalgity from Brisbane, Australia. Onrii comes to Waldorf after playing 2 seasons of junior hockey as well as 4 seasons in the AIHL.

Dalgity is a 6'0'' right-handed defenseman. Before coming over to the States, Ornii played 2 seasons with the Brisbane Lightning in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL). Dalgity moved to Atlanta in the 2023-24 season to play for the Atlanta Mad Hatters of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL). His first year in Atlanta, Dalgity played in 22 games with 2 points. After the season, he moved back to Australia, where he played 12 more games with the Brisbane Lightning as well as 5 games for Australia's U20 World Junior Championship-20 team. This 2024-25 season, Dalgity went back to the Mad Hatters, where he was named Captain, playing in 43 games with 15 points. Including 7 goals in the season. Onrii finished his junior career with Atlanta, playing in 65 games and scoring 17 points.

Being able to move the puck out of the defensive zone with either his skating or passing ability. We also look forward to having his offense on the power play. He isn't just an offensive player, with his size and knowledge of the defensive side of the game will be a plus for us."
